The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
What this means:
He doesn’t rush your growth or give up when you fall. He waits, teaches, and gently guides you back when you drift. His patience is part of His kindness.
What this means for you:
You don’t have to have it all together. He’s not looking for perfection — He’s looking for your heart.
Pray:
“God, thank You for being patient with me as I learn to know You more.”
